About this site

This is a bibliography, not an edition. It lists the pieces by Daniel Bensaïd, and those signed with his pen name Daniel Jebrac, that are held on the Red Mole archive sites, and links each one to its text there. The texts stay on those sites, with their scans and their notes.

One exception to the rule that only Red Mole holdings are listed: for the fourteen chapters of Strategies of Resistance (Resistance Books, 2026), the French originals and the English translations already published by others (International Viewpoint, the IIRE, danielbensaid.org, Contretemps) are linked where they are.

One work often appears in several languages: a French original in Inprecor or Critique communiste, an English version in International Viewpoint or Intercontinental Press, a Castilian one in the Spanish Inprecor. Versions are grouped as one work only where the archive sites already link them as translations, or where the two texts have been read side by side. Where that is not yet done, the versions are listed separately.

Much of his work, above all the books and the writing after 2000, is not in these archives. For that, see danielbensaid.org.

A few works are marked as having an English translation forthcoming in Politics as a Strategic Art (Haymarket Books), a collection whose translation is being funded through the Toledo Translation Fund.
